The IOAPA conference involves all IOAPA members, but distance and costs are sometimes obstacles for some of our members. For purposes of keeping the members involved and informed, the IOAPA Executive Committee encourages the membership to organise Regional Sessions.
The following guidelines have been established to help with organizing regional sessions:
1. The goals of a regional session should be in line with those of IOAPA. 2. The goals, the date, the place and the topics should be approved by the Executive Committee at least two months prior to the session. 3. All IOA past participants are invited to participate. 4. An approved representative of the Executive Committee should be present at the meeting. 5. An official report should be presented to the Executive Committee. 6. The discussions and conclusions of the work will constitute a point of reference to the Executive Committee, but are not mandatory decisions for the members. The IOAPA Executive Committee will support such sessions in all possible manners.
